<p>I checked the TH and with the new valve with the two set screws its not going anywhere.</p>
<p>I am thinking maybe occasionally the valve is doing a mini dump?</p>

I would think 998 fps with a 12&#8243; is pretty dang good. I&#8217;m pretty sure the Benjamin pellets are the same way.  They had them in the bargain cave so I got them for about 1/2 I would pay to get them from PA.</p>

<p>BTW Pandemic you might check out RWS superdomes as they are pretty cheap and shoot nearly as well as CPH for me.</p>
<p>Lastly,   does anyone know if the H&amp;N round shot shoots worth a damn in the Talons? 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I just saw that RL airgun has em for cheap.  They show how they work.  They are basically an insert for weaver/picatinny rings.  I like them as they fit tight and they allow conversion to weaver/picatinny from dovetail with as little rise as possible.</p>

They are also hand lapped to the ten thousands range so they should be super smooth.  I don&#8217;t know how well the 22LR barrel translates to shooting pellets but it might be interesting. My PB smith uses Benchmark barrels and they made their original reputation in 22LR match benchrest barrels.  They make a 2 groove that I am tempted to try. If the barrel is out of alignment it is possible that as the striker travels towards the breech it may contact with uneven pressure resulting in barrel movement at the muzzle end?</p>

The front bushing is pretty loose so they may have been a little far back.  This results in moving the breech end of the barrel farther back.  There is definitely better alignment of the breech on the barrel. <p>2800 psi shot to 2400</p>
<p>Need to get it on paper now and see if the tight velocity numbers translate to tight groups</p>
<p>BTW ProChrony sucks  extremely finicky (err, err, err)  I know I know its not mine. 🙄</p>

I will adjust my technique and look into the trirail.  A full stock would also remedy hold issues too it seems though a bit pricey.</p>
