<p>They are quite nice airguns, some perform really well especially the .32/.308 (most that do had some tinkering done to them). </p>

Nice energy output, i think thats the great benefit of an inline system (valve-barrel) like the Airforce guns offer.</p>

<p>We did some chrono testing as well, the gun was giving 200 joule at around 190 bar, 300 m/s with 72,5 grain.<br />
Hammerspringload was still at a zero so it was not yet max power.</p>

As soon as i receive my sizers i&#8217;ll post testresults. I think sizing will make a difference i groupsize as well. </p>
<p>Thusfar i did not feel the need to increase the power, because the chronyrapport was terribly consistent (less than 1mps difference).<br />

<p>I did not yet test for maximum power, probably never will.<br />
I prefer nice grouping at 100 meters and a lot of shots from a scubabottle instead of wasting air. </p>

<p>87 grain RCBS without sizing them (no sizer yet), 99% lead / 1 % tin mixture.<br />
Gun tethered to a regulator set at 2175 PSI gave nearly 147 FPE (200 joules).</p>
<p>This was with minimal hammerspringtension.</p>
<p>If the setup would be changed we expect the gun to run about 220 FPE (300 joules). </p>

No license is needed, you have to be 18+ and you can only shoot on a piece off land which you own or you need to have permission from the owner.</p>
<p>(Hunting or pestcontrol with airguns is not allowed.)</p>
<p>I mostly shoot 100 meters indoor.</p>

<p>I will change mine into a .257 caliber, for shooting solids. </p>
<p>First off all you should take it apart and remove all the mudlike grease from the inside.<br />
I would swap out the stockvalve as well, they tend to brake quite fast. </p>

Mine sn. 0065 hasn&#8217;t got one, like yours. </p>

<p>I have seen a lot of highpower bigbore slug/solid shooting conversions based on this airgun in Holland.</p>
<p>I think its a better startingpoint for conversions than the QB78.<br />
Better construction, better triggergroup and both the stock airtube and valve* are usable for your purposes. </p>

<p>I also thought about using an Edge frame as base for a .257 build.<br />
It looks a bit bulkier than the Talon and Condor frames.</p>
<p>My guess is that the Talon frame is the least suitable to use for a bigbore conversion, since the scoperail spans less of the breech than the Condor scoperail.</p>

<p>This is definitely not a powerhouse. </p>
<p>You can squeeze some extra power out of it but it was not designed for it.<br />
It originated as a 7,5 joule targetrifle, but is most well known in its 16 joule/12FPE trim.</p>
