87 grain RCBS without sizing them (no sizer yet), 99% lead / 1 % tin mixture.
Gun tethered to a regulator set at 2175 PSI gave nearly 147 FPE (200 joules).

This was with minimal hammerspringtension.

I will change mine into a .257 caliber, for shooting solids.

First off all you should take it apart and remove all the mudlike grease from the inside.
I would swap out the stockvalve as well, they tend to brake quite fast.

I for one shoot .309 sized 150 grainers in my Corsair.

I also thought about using an Edge frame as base for a .257 build.
It looks a bit bulkier than the Talon and Condor frames.

My guess is that the Talon frame is the least suitable to use for a bigbore conversion, since the scoperail spans less of the breech than the Condor scoperail.
