My Maruader shoots around 870 fps and my Cricket shoots around 940 fps<br />
This is just my opinion of my 2 airguns, others may have different results.</p>

I first chronied the cricket with the plastic  knob it comes with. I shot 12 rounds and all were 991 to 993 feet per second, which was quiet a shock since I had no idea it was shooting that hard. I was shooting JSB exact kings by the way. It also allows me to get off that second shot much quicker when required. I would say the 12 shot magazine for my .25 cricket is one of the main reasons I bought the cricket over the edgun.</p>

I had never heard of Optically centering a scope. I will do research on it.<br />
I have always done step 2.<br />
Never used a level on a scope. not sure what good that would do?<br />
