Amazingly enough all I needed for the flat top mod was a dremel tool and some super glue to attach the new rail. Probably not battle tough, but enough for my backyard patrols.

All I needed to do was grind out the internal contact points so it would fit flat against the upper and lower surfaces of the stock Talon SS barrel shroud.
