									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>30 mm is larger than 1 inch.  Putting tape would just make it bigger.  You can make a 30 mm ring fit in a 1 inch tube with adapters but you can&#8217;t make a 1 inch ring fit a 30 mm tube.<br />

They make offset inserts to correct your problem.  It will fix the problem and give you more scope adjustment.  I had the same problem on my custom Ruger 10/22. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I haven&#8217;t put it on a chrony yet so I don&#8217;t know what kind of power I&#8217;m getting.  As for the bipod, I will usually keep it on but it is extremely easy to take of (takes about 5 to 8 secs) to take off.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Actually the recoil isn&#8217;t that bad.  In my opinion, it&#8217;s a little worse than a short barreled .454 Casull.  Very tolerable unless you plan on shooting a bunch of rounds at one sitting.  I can put three rounds inside a quarter at 100 yards.  It&#8217;s a lot of fun and my primary hunting rig for deer and wild hogs. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Condorsniper,  it&#8217;s uncle mike&#8217;s swivel bases part # 2500-0 which consists of a single 7/8 inch machine screw base, a single 3/4 inch wood screw, two white spacers and a small nut for the machine screw.  Don&#8217;t use the wood screw (it&#8217;s the one with the really course threads). I then drill a small hole on the standard forend where I wanted to position the Harris bipod.  I then inserted the stud into the hole I drilled and secured it with the supplied nut.  It is very secure and very easy to do.
