I’ll be watching for powder coating with some sort of luminescence. </p>
<p>The powder coating puts on some paint color and covers it with a polymer all in one step. It adds 0.001 for a first coat and/or 0.0015” total with a second coat and re-sizing does not effect the coating.<br />

Avg. 1060 FPS</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t done much shooting yet and the settings above were what gave me 985 FPS Shooting 92 gr. Arsenal LFN &#8220;Noble&#8221; bullets.<br />

Got mine from chinka a couple years ago had tiny white flakes in it and about a 2&#8243; long spiral of drill shavings. I should have known better being it was from chinka. <p>If your AF tank has a rubber sleeve, it comes off essily with an air hose. My air wand has a rubber tip that can get under the edge and not scratch it. If it is more of a rubber boot like the older AF guns, that comes off easier. Otherwise hold one end of the sleeve against the tank while blowing air in the other end. <p>I think Ive found the cause of whiskers from the bullet noses. This is a 25 pould max lead pot. <p>Cooling my pot back down from a full fluid meld at readout of 680°F, it finally started forming a Ring Around the Surface at its readout of 650°. Is that surface ring what is being referred to as &#8220;Slush&#8221; ❓  </p>

<p>I&#8217;ll try to synchronize the Lyman thermometer with the Lyman digital Mag 25 pot. </p>
<p>On another forum I read that bullet frosting is caused by the mold being to hot.<br />
That makes sense because I didn&#8217;t have that problem before I cranked up my hot plate temp 😳  </p>

<p>No. The last times I used it, first I couldn&#8217;t get it over 800, next time not over 755, so I thought it was the old Lee lead pot element.<br />
Checking it in the new Lyman digital pot set and steady at 71°, it wouldn&#8217;t go over 650°. </p>
<p>How can it be adjusted ❓<br />
There is Not a nut to loosen like an oven thermometer has ❓  </p>

I cast a while starting at 755°F and when I had a rhythm going I quickly checked the lead temp. and it had dropped to 700° :sadn:<br />
I turned the Dial to Full #9 1/2 and after 1/2 hour it topped out at only 760°.<br />

<p>There myst be something in the timing of each step that I&#8217;m not getting prefect. i still get like a cresent moon shinny area as if the lead is not solid enough. Shot fron a shooting rest at 200 yards.<br />
Working out problems I&#8217;m causing but at least now I&#8217;m on paper.<br />
The one marked lowest shot was a 92 gr that I temporarily ran out of.<br />

<p>When you get some time with it let us know what experience you have with it and how to adjust it. </p>
