Agreed, although the last bar might sometimes take a bit longer(2-3 sec). But 99% of shutoff pressuere should be reached in about a second.

You could try a standard metric size that has 1,5mm cross section. When I make my breech I always cut the o-ring groove 0,4mm less deep than the calculated diameter. Say your barrel is .308″ cros section of the o-rings is 1/16 then the groove depth should be 0.417″

make a sleeve with the same angle. Do the math on what shrinkage you need and heat the bushing.
