<p>Shoot over the chrony and see what velocity they start to bunch up at, and then let me help you find the psi that will match that velocity.</p>

<p>Getting the crosshairs centered optically allows for the clearest, least distorted view through the scope.  </p>
<p>The idea is to mount the scope as close to sighted-in as possible and use the clicks (hopefully only a very few) to get your windage exact. <p>Not here to bash or start a fight, but if you look at the first few pictures, they are a little different.  Not the same as baz is measuring.  I just imported the pict into my CAD program and scaled using the diameter of the bottle and the diameter of the valve.  It&#8217;s about 2.5&#8243; long.(the one mounted on the rifle).</p>

<p>Silicone is needed on any of the cast polyurethane o-rings in the regulator on the E-TaCREG.  I always add some when I install them, but that will not last forever.  Any pure silicone is a benefit.</p>
<p>Adding it to the fill nipple will help keep the backcheck o-ring lubed.  </p>

<p>Are you guys sure the groove diameter is the same??  I thought the air rifles barrels are .221 and the .22rf is .224.  Also, the lack of a choke on the .22rf barrel will not help accuracy either.</p>
<p>Not wanting to pee on your parade, but I&#8217;m pretty sure you won&#8217;t be happy with the results.</p>

<p>Why not just take the plunger out of the reg and open it up?  There is nothing to be gained by opening the valve to allow air.  The ports are very small and not designed for free-flow..they are actually that small to retard free-flow.</p>

<p>I have looked at E-Bay and craigslist.  But I was hoping for a more consistent supplier.  They seem to be as scarce as hens-teeth.  Luxfer has a minimum order of 100pcs, so that&#8217;s a non-starter.  Others won&#8217;t take their regulators off, I have no desire to pay for them.</p>

<p>Most of the larger bottles are either 5/8-18 UNF or 3/4-16UNF.  I know of a guy who wanted a larger bottle just like you with the M18 threads.  He called Catalina and was denied.  Doubt the &#8220;big guys&#8221; would entertain it as the customer base is limited.    </p>
<p>I&#8217;d be happy to make an E-TaCHPA for the 5/8-18UNF bottle.   😀  😀 </p>

<p>I&#8217;m having trouble getting a good consistent velocity at the very low tophat setting needed.  Doesn&#8217;t seem to like being less than .030 from the valve.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll see if I have a Talon valve and try them again as time allows.<br />

<p>I don&#8217;t have any 14.3 but here&#8217;s what I do have:</p>
<p>JSB 15.8:  920fps<br />
JSB 18.1:  860fps<br />
Kodiak 21:  828fps<br />
JSB 24.5:  765fps</p>
<p>I only did one string with the 18.1 and got 17 shots.  YIKES, that sucks. <p>These are for two different scopes, they are not supposed to be the same size.</p>
<p>The rings are indicator mounts.  They have a pointer in them to point at the turret knob or the sidewheel.<br />

<p>I had a request for the right reg to get 890fps in a .22 with Kodiaks in a 18&#8243; barrel, so I did a quick setup today.  No time for a full string.</p>
<p>Got 910fps from a 2k output, 18&#8243; AFB reg. <p>My Sidewinder did indeed come within .001 of yours.  You probably just suck at measuring&#8230;LOL!!!!</p>
<p>Here is my personal wheel on the Sidewinder.  Unfortunately the illuminated reticle will not be able to be used.  But I cut enough clearance so it doesn&#8217;t get turned when ranging.</p>

<p>The burst disc bursting is strange, indeed.  I&#8217;ve not had any problems with the regs I&#8217;ve sent out.  I  pressure test each one before it leaves and I&#8217;ve not popped any.  </p>
