<p>There are two parts to proper pellet trap.</p>
<p>The stopping material or better the energy absorption or the pellet and then the sound attenuation of the energy being distributed.</p>
<p>I have been using BICC Compound successfully for about 10 000 pellets and it is still good, just much heavier now.( similar to duct seal)</p>

<p>Stripped down my R3….. cleaned the barrel, and everything else, replaced all the o-rings as per Ernest&#8217;s  video, reset my reg to 3 &#8216; 0 clock from original setting, re-lubed all the parts with moly, silicone and all that shit.</p>
<p> Turned the HST screw out slightly  to compensate for the lower reg setting.</p>

<p>Mine shoots around 940fps and I think somewhere I read that best Accuracy on the R3 is around 900fps with 18gr</p>

<p>My Cricket was one of the first ones, so it was low on the fps with 18 grns.<br />
I spent a lot of time with the Cricket , it is an awesome accurate and predictable  gun.<br />
I have now spent the same amount of time with my R3&#8230;&#8230; I voted for the Edgun.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Also, we must remember a Cricket will shoot a 18 gr @ 850fps and a Edgun @ 900-920 out the box , something to keep in mind when considering efficiency.</p>
<p>My Cricket is very accurate only up to 200 shots, then the barrel requires  cleaning….Edgun I only cleaned it once after about 2000 pellets.</p>
<p>Edguns are special !!!!</p>

The supplier is a German company WIKA, we have a local supplier is RSA and the cost was around 26 usd (converted)<br />
Dont know why Kalibr use a branded gauge 😯 its the same manufacturer and probably cheaper unbranded.</p>

<p>I used a full mag at every string so the total was 98 shots.<br />
The starting pressure was 290 bar and we ended at about 115 bar.</p>
<p>The barrel was clean when we started the test so the first group settled the barrel.<br />

<p>The shipment arrived at the end of Nov last year&#8230;..it was a shopping frenzy.<br />
They were sold out in few days! I think there are around 50 Crickets  sold  and what I can read on the forums are very positive.<br />

He does not reload the action but tries to move the mag forward by moving the mechanism repeatedly, the action has to be reloaded for the mag  index to move forward.<br />
I have 2 x Crickets, not one has ever failed and both have shot count of  about 4000</p>
