FPS around 905
Seems about optimum for me.
Good ES and SD.
Easy 40 mm chalk circular targets 100 metres
25 mm somewhat harder.

Think the V gun takes some bedding in, more so than Cricket.
Only use JSB pellets.
FPS set to around the 900 fps figure
Obviously clean the barrel. What year is yours? Think the regulator design was changed last year.
Just fire it for 500 or so shots, mine definitely tightened up the groups.

I use a Ward D700 nv add on . Simplicity itself, pop it on to the rear of your scope, carrying on shooting as normal until light has totally gone. Then fit IR toch to top of scope and carry on.
Ok for ambush shooting.

The diablo shaped pellet is a design feature to reign in long carry overs.
They work best , IMO , all calibres around the 900 fps figure. Higher fps = worse accuracy , more strain on all parts and worse shot count.

Just fitted my side lever. Absolutely over the moon with it. Has totally transformed my Vulcan. Forget the metal side plate issues, the moulding on mine was perfect.
Smooth and quiet in operation.

Bit fiddly to install. Beware those side plate machine screws. Get the right torque bit otherwise…

My Vulcan .25 is firing JSB kings 25.39 grains at around 900 fps. Appx 45fpe. Nothing unusual with that.
Accuracy ,I am not a good shot.
Hits sugar cubes at 100 yards appx 4 shots out of 5.
One inch group not hugely difficult.

My V .25 firng JSB 25 grain pellets. I fill to 220 bar comes off Reg at appx 150 bar.
Gives 36 to 40 shots.
Would suggest you adjust HST to appx 900 to 910 fps.
When you see a large rise in Fps around the 38 to 40 shots is coming off the reg.

I have the Hawke in the Video clip frpm SA, and also the Edgun scope, the latter very similar to SWFA being fixed power not variable.
