The threads are 1&#8243;-20 .</p>
<p>Can you read AutoCad 2000 files?<br />
I got a drawing.</p>
<p>The thread choice is not ideal.<br />
The endplugs are sealed with &#8220;O&#8221; rings.<br />
The &#8220;O&#8221; rings drag over the internal 1&#8243;-20 threads when you screw the end plug in. Theres potental for &#8220;O&#8221; ring damage, but it works.</p>

  Actualy, that tank was allready full. I was just going through the motions for the camera.<br />
The tank is only 4.5 cubic inches (I believe the AF tank is 32 cubic inches), so it is hard not to fill it fast. It gets warm but not hot.</p>
<p>This tube is just for testing out the valve and quick fill setup.<br />

<p>That is what the manufacturer would do.<br />
Cycle it a thousand times to make sure the design is correct.<br />
They also pressure test the tanks to failure so they know what their safety factor is. 35 yards, with perfect shot placement.<br />
One shot, between the eyes, did the job.</p>
<p>Bullet Damage was found near the heart.<br />
Bullet went In the head and damaged stuff near the heart (about 12 inches of penetration).  (a head / heart shot?)</p>

You MUST be totaly proficent with your gun, at the range and conditions you are shooting from.</p>

This Deer was tagged and taken to the DNR inspection station.<br />

Read up on it.<br />
It is a way of calculating the strength of pipes (or tubes of delrin).</p>
<p>Look up the tinsile strength of Delrin, you will need this information to use the formula. (I believe its 8,000 PSI).</p>

I got a basement, and the heaviest machine I can move in is 600 pounds.<br />
Had to disasseble the lathe (craftsman 12X36), the Mill/Drill, and the surface grinder. All are about 600 pounds each.</p>

Actually, what I used was Locktite 495.<br />
I looked up MSDS sheets on 3 or 4 different brands of super glue<br />
and the auto ignition temperature is 495 degrees.<br />
Thats similar to gasoline at 475 degrees.<br />
Super glue is like putting gasoline in your air tank!!!!!</p>

<p>If I get a long enough screw, I dont need the Ca glue at all.<br />
For this valve, I ran out of long, fully threaded, 6-32 screws, and used a non fully threaded screw. The threads will be enough to hold the seat in place.</p>
<p>CA glue is just common &#8220;Super Glue&#8221;.</p>
<p>I had my hand on the tank through out the whole incident.<br />

 I have checked both CF tanks for oil. They both smell good.<br />
Discharged half of the tank onto a white piece of paper, and got no oil.</p>
<p>Yes, I use CA glue as a threadlocker between the delrin and the 6-32 screw.<br />
Also, it was reglued the day before the incident. or was it the morning of the incident, I cant remember?<br />

  That makes a lotta sense.<br />
  If the first shot after the Hopps #9 cleaning, could have blown back oil into the valve stem area. It could happen if the valve closed before the bullet exited the bore. Then pressure in the barrel pushes air &amp; oil backwards and exits in the clearence between the valve stem and the valve body.<br />
