									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I don&#8217;t like action wiggles either. Fortunately, my .22 vulcan is tight but I have an el cheapo ar-15 with play and it drives me nuts. </p>
<p>Can you feel the fasteners in the stock wiggle with the top action?  If so, I wonder if shortening the fastener a tad (or adding a washer to experiment) would be an answer?  </p>

Shut off source of high pressure air.  (For the hill pump, stop pumping.  For the air tank close the main valve).  Then slowly crack the bleed valve. Terrible name but its called &#8220;super lube&#8221; and comes in a grey spray can. (Almost purchased the patch worm but realized I have lots of spools of heavy fishing line laying around).  Got the idea from someone on one of these forums but I just tied a loop at the end and pull patches breech to end.  I also have had good luck with WD40. My 45 ftlbs royale (.25) and 90 ftlbs Sumatra (.25) blow through typical backstops.  Just the noise alone of the 25gr pellet (or 40gr for the sumatra) slamming into wood is enough to raise eye brows in my neighborhood. Something about 200 strenuous bend the knee pumps in front of all those people at the range gives air gunning a bad image so I keep it discrete out there.  Now in the privacy of my back yard or garage I have no issues getting my cardio workout.   </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have one of the first batch of 22 Vulcans (serial #7). Out of the box I got 55 shots before it started to drop off.  Mean: 902 ft/sec, Max: 911 ft/sec, Min 891 ft/sec.  Pressure started at 250bar and ended at 150.  I&#8217;m shooting JSB&#8217;s 18.1 grainers out of this guy. I haven&#8217;t checked it since but will do it again after a few more tins. </p>

I have to make use of that flare at the bottom of the handle to apply a little counter torque.  Pulling the stock into my shoulder with my bolt hand seems to tighten it up a little.</p>

For a rest I&#8217;m using a carpet covered 2&#215;4 frame and no shoulder bag so I&#8217;d expect it to improve with a better setup. I rarely get calm wind so that&#8217;s playing into it a little.</p>

<p>The purpose of the little brass pin is to prevent the magazine from advancing forward when you pull the bolt back. Ultimately it&#8217;ll prevent a double feed if you feel the need to pull the bolt back without firing.
