One end of the tubing is a plug, heliarced in place, the other end is a threaded bushing also heliarced in. Testing to 5K showed no problems or significant growth.

The tube is made from .100 wall chromemoly, and has a solid plug tigwelded in the back, and a threaded bushing in the front.
