<p>As in all nv it has always been a fight for more light. The FOV of a 3X scope is far wider than the FOV of a 9X<br />
You need that larger FOV to suck in as much light as they possibly can.<br />

<p>The Cmos camera..its a turd..don&#8217;t do it. </p>
<p>The NV uk forums will tell you to get the KCT E700..it is one of the best out there for around 70-100 bucks.<br />
If you need to be budget, or only need to see 100 yards..then go with an Effio V&#8230;40 bucks. <p>But I won&#8217;t, its a flakey little gadget that is hard to get all setup.<br />
The menu stinks and mine drains its battery when left in the unit, so I need to take out the battery when not in use..so incorrect timestamp all the time..so I just turned timestamp off.</p>

<p>See above, chances are its leaking from one of the orings like mine was.</p>
<p>Put 1000 psi or so in it, and dunk under water, Verify where the leak is from.<br />
Common issue, only 3-4  orings in there.</p>
<p>4K in a condor..not good if it is a stock tank&#8230;3K rated</p>

But, it does not compare to the Edgun/Cricket or other higher end gun that&#8217;s twice its price.</p>
<p>My advice for a new to pcp guy.<br />
Get the Mrod .25, skip the WAR upgrade (40+fp is enough) and get the mad dog bullpup kit if you like bullpups.</p>

<p>I think if you have a JDS reg you have to use the Etac adapter..but I&#8217;m not sure.</p>

<p>Part of a nv setup, taken apart and re-vamped long ago.<br />
My problem was those cheap 15 buck lasers would move around, thus changing POI..which makes it pretty useless.<br />
Spend a few bucks, get a good laser..and it does give you a GENERAL idea of the range.<br />
