Hi all. I took apart the Talon today to put in a new hammer spring. Once reassembled, I wasn’t able to cock the gun. I can get the breach halfway forward, but it wont go any further. I’ve disassembled and reassembled it about 5 times now, but can’t seem to find the issue. I’ve tried using the old spring, but no luck. Ive trying forcing the breech…Read more

Edit: Turns out the old oring (plastic piece) was stick to the lip of the tank, where the brass piece meets the tank. I removed that and managed to get the brass piece to sit almost flush with the new oring (sticks up a tiny bit, but near flush). Problem is, the gun is still shooting weak. What exactly is the optimal fill pressure for these? The…Read more

I’m almost certain I removed it. I just took apart the valve again. Poked around the bottom of the brass piece with a metal pick, but I’m only hitting brass (I actually scratched the brass a bit to make sure there wasn’t a ring there). When tightened with the oring, the brass ring sits about 1mm above the lip of the tank.

Hi everyone! Picked up a Talon SS recently and I’m having some trouble with it. Initially, the tank was leaking. I fixed that by removing the brass piece and tossing in a size 14 oring. This stopped the leak, but now the brass piece doesn’t sit flush with the tank body (no matter how hard I tighten it). I’ve adjusted the tophat as per AF’s…Read more
