Mine shoots 17fpe on CO2 and is definitely more quiet than my RWS 460 and arguably more quiet than my RWS 46 &#8211; Possibly as quiet as my TX200&#8230;.nah!</p>

I find that the AirForce published C02 velocities are pretty much spot on for the CP&#8217;s I use. 735fps and 670fps for 24&#8243; and 18&#8243; respectively. Another plus is the extreme consistency for a target session. Shot after shot goes the same place. <p>The new barrel works great! The bushings lined right up with my frame &#8211; not even a little offset requiring fiddling with the screws to get it aligned! The breech slides right over the top hat with no issues. I&#8217;m a happy camper. </p>

<p>My experience with CO2 is that Condor and Talon shoot the same for the same barrel length. The Adapter is the same as the Condor Valve and the hammer weight doesn&#8217;t really matter as any extra hit is just wasting CO2. I get 735 fps from my Talon 24&#8243; barrel on CO2 and like 680 from the 12&#8243; Barrel. Both with CP .22. You may have maxed out on velocity and would only be wasting air to crank it up further (and of course, being louder). Sight it in and then POI test for whether PW changes cause the pellet to move higher on the target.</p>

<p>The 18&#8243; barrel gives you a 100 or so fps over the 12&#8243; and still offers a compact gun, even with the FE. I would say more like 15 pumps. Do the math for 0 &#8211; 3000 psi and remember the higher pressure pumps are harder&#8230;&#8230;</p>

AirForce has one of the yoke types or you can buy a DIN type from someone like Air Hog. I got a 3442 psi tank which my local shop will fill to 3500psi; gets you a few more fills at 3000 psi. <p>I haven&#8217;t had much luck with lower power settings (below say 5) on HPA. I start getting eratic fps and some &#8220;misfires&#8221;. I haven&#8217;t tried lower fill pressures, but am not necessarily looking for less power, just (a lot) more shots per fill. The 0 PW setting on Co2 works great.</p>

My 24&#8243; barrel one does 17fpe on CO2 (but not in the winter outside). Regulated tanks look good, but have ergonomic and possibly reliability issues (I&#8217;m thinking that is improving on the newer stuff). I really need to clean up my workbench area before I attack this as anything dropped is gone forever! I have been risking it on tuning springers, but not that much to drop&#8230;..famous last words!</p>

<p>Re the shots/tank: 50 the number I get with no POI dropoff. One could aim higher and keep shooting&#8230;..re the modified valve; no experience with shot count whatsoever, just made what I consider to be a conservative yes/no guess.</p>

A stock (12&#8243;, .22 barrel, no mods) TSS can only push a 14.3 g pellet around 850fps. If you wanted 1000fps, you would need a 24&#8243; barrel or a modified valve. </p>

I also take their recommendation of PW=0. With that, testing at about 78 degrees F, I get what they get. I only have a 12&#8243; .177 barrel, but with CPL&#8217;s I get 700 fps, with CP .22&#8217;s &#8211; 12&#8243; = 600, 18&#8243;= 670 fps, and 24&#8243; = 735fps.
