If not just snip one through and slide it around the valve stem, then loosen the grubbies in the tophat and turn the tophat clockwise to decrease the gap. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Toad, I do all my own machining. All my 24&#8243; Airforce barrels have been shortened to 18&#8243; and I&#8217;ve kept one of the breech sections. Whenever an Airforce rifle comes in for tuning, I give the option to shorten the frame and barrel-i copy the breech section onto the shortened barrel.<br />

<p>Below is a 55yrd group, the only target I could find was a metal table in the vineyard. On paper it would&#8217;ve been 5 shots through the same hole. For hunting in short to mid ranges +- 55yrds that H&amp;N 21grs, Jsb 25gr and 18gr Jsbs all work well in the smooth twist barrel but the further you go-nothing beats the 18grs.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m currently using this setup, a homemade mount that I&#8217;ve used for all my youtube vids. Works perfectly, I like the scopecan but it limits you on reallly long shots and also tedious to setup up perfectly each time.<br />
This pic is of myself making the vid below, it gives you a good idea of how it works.</p>

I haven&#8217;t sent it to Airforce Airguns yet, will do that asap.<br />

Shot to shot consistency is around 5fps or less. Everything from the valve to springs has been stripped, polished and lubed where necessary and valve fine tuned. I have no doubt that the Kings would do the job-and save me abit of time ( which is in short supply at the moment.) I have a few tins of Kings, will test them at 150yrds and further. They&#8217;ll definitely out perform the .22 (18grs) and may be enough to get the job done.</p>

I&#8217;m shooting a Condor .22 (Jsb 18grs @  930fps). I&#8217;ve had very good results at 130-150yrds, but I&#8217;m trying to get my rig setup to handle light breezy conditions better.<br />

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had the exact same thing happen to me about 2 yrs ago, for some reason the spring retainer came loose and dropped into the bottle. I opened it and refitted the spring and retainer and all was well. Still shooting aswell as it did then.</p>

There&#8217;s more than enough power to drop a crow or pigeon at 100yrds+. Just a tip that might help, take the thick and thin o&#8217;rings you,ve been using and cut through them. If you want a lower velocity, just slip the thicker o&#8217;ring around the valve stem and vice versa.<br />

I don&#8217;t own a TalonP but I&#8217;ve worked on any other Airforce rifle(being the service agent for Airforce rifles in South Africa) and the tunability is endless.<br />
