 This will be my new compact treerat ,backpack gun.<br />

<p>The 3,000 to 3,500 come with a CGA580 valve but after that they use a CGA677 valve. If you use a reg. use a piston type of the correct pressure rating. <p>I sent you a PM but will ask here. Whats a good way to set ball in loading port ,to get it in rifling and at a consistant depth ,so each shot will be the same.</p>

The o-ring look fine ,just to small i think, does this happen to anybody else, and the probe part of gun screw all the way in or is there a 1/8 in gap,don,t want to tighten untill i here from someone about it. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When i got my new Talon SS from wife ,i simply took tank to work with me and filled it with 2,200 psi of nitrogen,then hand pumped to 3,000 psi. I only shoot 10 shots ,then hand pump back up. Up to 2,600 not bad at all after that,i use all my 218 body wt. lol.</p>

<p>Tomorrow i will try a 20 shot string,i play with PW,the only pellet i use is Kodiaks,they are fine ,hard hitting pellets,the predators are used for close range hunting and are also accurate and deadly on squirrels,under 40 yds.</p>

<p>My Talon is a hunter,i only shoot 10 shots,then i hand pump back up.I do shoot at  random targets alot ,just too keep trajectory in my head,but only 10 shots per string.So, my bottom line is ,those first 5 or 6 power shots for clean quick kills.This weekend i will play with PW,and see what i come up with.  Its simply a crow call,friction fit and a plastic thread saver super glued in end,i think wood  work better. But after all this started as a joke.</p>

I didn,t spend alot of time on shooting,but wanted to try bbl. out. It shoots dead on zero at 18 and 50 yd, i didn,t try it pass 50 yds, will do that this weekend.</p>

There is only 2 ways to shoot rd. lead.A smooth bore or a patched ball where there is no direct contact with lead ball and rifling.Beside inaccurate from lead shaving peeling from ball,that is contact with rifling,a patch would work but it would cheaper and less trouble just to use cheap pellets.</p>
