I have one of JDSAIRMAN 62 cu in tanks with a regulator set at 1900 psi. It works great and the quick disconnect makes it easy to fill. Get the Condor and in .22 to start, knowing you can add barrels as your knowledge and uses expand. The .22 will allow you to shoot inexpensively and if you&#8217;re hand pumping the .25 will certainly reduce your shot count.</p>

Much too fast for a pellet that will probably not go faster than 1100 fps. A .22 hornet barrel is i think 1 in 14 or there abouts which is much closer to the speed you&#8217;d probably want. <p>It may happen that the safety doesn&#8217;t set properly if you don&#8217;t cock the gun completely, the breach slide must go all the way to a positive stop. If the safety isn&#8217;t completely set it won&#8217;t toggle off properly either.</p>

I never let it get hot. Fortunately It failed quickly so I returned it and got the Hill instead. Three months now and it gets used almost every day. Keep it lubed with diver&#8217;s silicone and it will perform every time.</p>

Put your favorite cleaning liquid on the brush and run it through the barrel 10 times. Run dry patches until they come out clean. <p>But seriously, it may be that the breach slide is ever so slightly eccentric at the barrel end and rotating to the right puts some preload on the barrel. The barrel bushings are not designed to prevent such torquing of the barrel.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The big problem with 22 rimfire barrels is that the groves are much deeper and therefore allow too much air to escape to be efficient. Best case would be the Marlin micro-grove barrels but even then you would lose a large amount of air.</p>
<p>Many have tried, never heard of it working out well.</p>
