Pulled the patches through with a patch worm from the breech end.  I also checked the crown of the barrel for burs using a cotton swab (read this advise on a post somewhere on here) and barrel seems good.</p>

It will show you a graph of your shot curve and you can see where your zeros are and get a lot of other info it will also calculate your optimum far zero. But in order for chairgun to be accurate you have to feed it the right info (velocity, scope height&#8230;)</p>

<p>On my Talon SS it shoots at 740 FPS with the reg set at 2000 psi (JSB Express .22 cal 14.35gr). The kids have a little Crossman Raven that they shoot in the back yard pretty successfully, but I want to take them ground squirrel hunting and they need a little more reach then the Raven will give them.  I like that they have learned to shoot with open sights though. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When saving and making a decision keep in mind that there will be other expenses.  You will have to get a good scope and a way to charge the gun, along with possible upgrades like bipod.  Those can add quite a bit to the amount you will have to save.</p>

Oh by the way I just got my first kill, a Starling at about 30 yards, dropped like a rock.  I guess a .25 pellet traveling at 1000 fps doesn&#8217;t give a starling much time to flap around and die slowly. 😀</p>
