Heh Fox, I have a burris timberline 4.5-14 with the bullet drop hash marks ( 4 of them). the eye relief is a little long ,and the eye box critical but once you get used to it it is very serviceable. It is small, relatively light and good quality for the price. I took it off another gun and until I find something I like better,it will get used on…Read more

Dairyboy,I only have scuba tanks that I can get filled to 3400psi. i have 3 of them on a cascade fill system. I get tons of fills at 3200 (220 bar) but only a few at 3400 psi. So…….no problem really ,36 shots is at least 4 times as many as I need on a hunt, and I found a great scuba shop where if you buy your tanks from them (and I did) the air…Read more

Hey Hoot, are you sure you used a 1.5 mm bit on that shroud ? I just drilled mine both places like yours and my holes sure look smaller than yours . I used a 1/16 bit that should be slightly larger than 1.5mm. May just be the way the picture makes it look. Anyway, you are right a nice squirt of air escapes from the holes. Mine is a .22 and wasnt…Read more

There are only two, that hold the stock to the rest of the gun. Anyway, no I just firm them up to what seems tight enough. Kind of hard to describe without torque numbers. I tighten with the short end of an allen wrench and even then not as tight as I can get it. ( long end in screw, short end in your fingers for less leverage ). It would be inch lbs.

I bought a new Vulcan and received it three days ago. I was impressed with the fit and finish. I am a function over form shooter, in that if its balls on accurate I can live with a pretty homely rifle. This ones the whole package, shoots great and looks great.
