<p>I was amazed how the bulldog performed accuracy wise and  lack of report in the desert setting runnung 225 to 250 fpe using my 180 and the 120 grain hp from Rick.  </p>

<p>Then there is the magazine thing which is never solved in a rear bottle type gun. </p>

I also sent him some cast bullets that I had purchased off the AA Classifieds from Richard Morrill in Punta Gorda Fl.. The bullets from Morrill are 120 grains HP&#8217;s that are of the Maxiball design out of a Accurate mold.</p>

<p>I would like to say I knew of this before buying the mold, but in fact I was clueless and to make matters worse, I was led to believe it was a 158 grain bullet.</p>

<p>I guess first off it is a 357 with a magazine, then of course is power, and for a magazine fed 38 with a 3000 PSI fill it is head and shoulders above the rest.</p>
<p>I have had some nice big bores, but you could not hand pump them and at this stage in life I don&#8217;t want to spend another grand for  the tanks and Shoebox.</p>

<p>My ported Bulldog is very loud compared to the  257 SS I had.  It is not backyard friendly unless your yard is 5 acres or more. It is quiet enough  not to need ear protection while hunting, nothing more.</p>

I had ne leak after removing the fill nipple while porting the barrel and reciver.  I had removed it to aid in leveling the receiver on my drill pres.  </p>
<p>A short walk to the True value and I had a new oring, has not leaked since.</p>
<p>Kudo&#8217;s to Tom for the instructions on how to get more power from it.</p>

<p>I had heard that they have a leaking problem at the bleed screw?  If so do we know if Crosman has a fix.</p>
<p>I suspect mistrust with Crosman over the Rogue fiasco may have something to do with the fact no one posts anything about them. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Actually members of this forum were on the fore front of cast bullets in air guns 2 to 3 years ago.  Tofasfou has a cast bullet guide in the other guns section. Dyotat, Tofasfou and myself made the longest shots in airgun history with 257 bullets.</p>
