<p>Maybe set the pressure to 70 bars?</p>

<p>With a 250mm .177 barrel, the little gun is not efficient at high energy levels. As a sight using optics (there is a half lens), the triangle only appears in view for a limited angle range. This is not unlike a dot sight, however, except a dot sight uses a reflective surface instead of a refractive lens. </p>

<p>When I shot the Mutant 2 Sundays ago, it wasn&#8217;t shooting very accurately at 23 yards. I could see the JSB Jumbo Express pellets spraying a little. 5-shot groups were nickel-sized and not exactly what I was expecting. The gun was on a versapod (pretty solid support) and I was sitting on a stool.</p>

<p>If you want more power or less report, the standard is the way to go. I like the Shorty because it has a shorter OVL and the LOP is also shorter. You can still fit a Fatboy over the standard for some extra hush.</p>

The answer is 56 shots from 220 bars down to 120 bars. In reality, efficiency should improve (though not sure by how much) as muzzle energy is lowered, meaning the shot count should be better than 56 shots.</p>

<p>I have been shooting my Shorty at 13 FPE with JSB Express 14.35gr pellets and it is dead nut accurate up to 25 yards. I don&#8217;t have groups, but let&#8217;s just say that many pests now have a piece of lead in their little brains  :whistle: </p>
<p>At 20 FPE, I think I did okay in the previous FT match. Almost tied with 3rd place.</p>
