My .22 Cricket set to 880 fps using JSB 18.1 piles one pellet on top of another. I clean the barell with patches and a little Remoil then about 3 dry patches and it’s all good. I clean about every 250 shots and not because accuracy falls off, just feel like it. If you are having accuracy issues, something besides a dirty barell is the problem.

Good to hear. My Cricket is one of the latest production units and holds air 100% like my AirWolf. Thankfully the Cricket is a masterful design as it is made to….maintain… for the average airgunner. Glad you got it resolved.

Glad I got my .22 Cricket BP when I did. I have the newer one with two stock screws and it is flawless. So I take it the BP version was not as popular as the longer ones?

For those who claim the Cricket is not as accurate as an Ed gun this is not my experance. I also own an AirWolf MCT. My Cricket in side by side comparison is equally accurate. I don’t own an Ed gun but both my Cricket piles one 18 grn pellet on top of each other set at 880 fps. It’s hard to get more accurate than that. I’m sure the Ed gun does…Read more

I love my little BullPup .22 Cricket. The shortness of the gun makes it so handy and easy to carry and shoot. It’s right on par in the accuracy department with my .22 AirWolf MCT. Mine has the synthetic stock which is awesome. My vote is go for the BullPup.
