									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Spent about an hour twisting then tapping top hat with wooden dowel at 1k psi.  I found the sweet spot so no more leaks.  I then found O-ring that was a tight fit over top hat but seems to work fine without excess slop.</p>
<p>I cranked the power wheel up to nine from normal 4 at 2.5k. My valve is 5 years old so wondering if factory did something to end of stem, like the same guy who installed the grub screw that won&#8217;t back out and maybe the same one who forgot to install collar on cocking stem on bolt?</p>

<p>While screwing the knob back in I saw the simple fix..slaps self on back of head!</p>

<p>I should have made my self clear but there never was the plastic tube over the knob post..ever.  I would have seen that as my home made one eventually failed and came apart.</p>

<p>The choices we have with these guns and configs is what  made me get one instead of waiting on a Marauder.</p>

<p>The 2400 psi is where new gun came in the mail;)  I will also do a string at 2K where I plan to re-fill, then another string at 2.8k to see where factory settings shoot.</p>

The tank fill gauge is different than one shown in pamphlet marked “nitro buck” with just three marks between major divisions.</p>

<p>For birds I use Crow-Mags. Like Buzz said you can&#8217;t go wrong with Kodiaks. Those suckers hit like a freight train. My all around pellet is the JSBs. It sounds to me like you know what you are doing.<br />
