I was surprised to find that the added weight seemed almost negligible. I was aiming to get rid of my Flex problem and it certainly took care of that. I have the ultima short and the pistol grip was modified buy Mad Dog to be ambidextrous. Very sweet

Not good for accuracy. I tried lubing with 10wt silicon R/C shock oil (as recommended by knifemaker if I recall for cast bullet shooting in the .257). A bit messy but no more leading and very good accuracy.
