Very good for the money, but nowhere near a Talontunes, Airhog, or any number of others being hand built, as it has much smaller internal volume and no baffling.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>a little heat will be in order for the loktite. Start easy, something like a hair dryer on the tophat.  I&#8217;ve used a bic lighter with good success (AND EXTREME MODERATION) heat a LITTLE, check, heat a LITTLE, check; until the screw can be moved. </p>

Not loud, just that you can tell what it is. My wife can&#8217;t hear me shooting from inside the house but a couple dogs a block or so away always go nuts.  Guess there is some HighFrequency sound (inautible to us humans) that still escapes the shroud.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ID will varry a little depending on the barrel being installed but in general .630 is what most of the factory barrels are (except the 12&#8243; ones)</p>
<p>OD, 1.008-1.010; there is some variance of the ID of the frames from gun to gun so best fit would be by measuring your specific frame.</p>

<p>Easy fix though, they are a common 10-32 thread, and several different lengths should be available at your local hardware store for minimal cost. <p>A fixed 4x doesn&#8217;t cut it at 50+ yards. FOV is too small with high power fixed scopes for hunting purposes.</p>
<p>Had a 6&#215;32 on my TalonSS and found that the FOV was too small for fast target aquisition inside 20 yards even at the lowest setting. At 100yds I seldom turned the scope up to more than 14x, even paper punching. </p>
