You can shoot with both eyes open and it works great for moving targets like rats or raccoons. My battery last for 50,000 hours.  The only down side is the price about 486.00. The Mac 1 was consistent and accurate  but with some tweaking of the pyramid gun it shoots pretty much the same. With Mac 1 you have less chance of getting a lemon and if something is wrong  Tim will fix it. 😀  😀</p>

Are you increasing spring tension or hammer weight so the valve opens properly? When I filled my tank to 3300 psi my first couple of shots were weak until the pressure dropped so the valve could work properly.  What are you trying to achieve? You can do some easy mods to make all the guns sound like a small pin nailer. If the 425.00 price was from Mac 1 it is an old price. Give him a call for his current price and ask Tim some questions. I bought a logun ez glide from pyramid air and it has performed with only one problem, the pressure gauge stopped working so I replaced it. Easy fix. I would recommend the logun over the air force. I had to mount the laser with a one inch scope ring which will add to your cost.<br />

Also where the brass adaptor screws into the pump there is a little plastic disc on the bottom where the adaptor presses against it to seal it. Is that there? Good Luck</p>

The brass reducer really tight to the aluminum heat sink. The aluminum heat sink is soft and striped. The axsor pump has a brass fitting that&#8217;s harder to strip.  Filling an empty bottle to 3000psi takes some effort. When it finally broke 7 months latter I purchased a axsor pump from pyramid that works a lot better. Where the air force adaptor screws into the pump is a weak area. Mine got stripped and the bottle blew off.</p>

I first got a chineese air force pump and it was nothing but problems. It might have just been a lemon but it crapped out after a couple months so I bought a axsor pump at pyramid air and it works way better .  Just my 2cents</p>
