It looks to me like a good job of machining. I shot it a few times in the basement with the Talon standard valve & it worked ok. I need to do some shooting over a Chrony. My understanding is the top hat size determines the barrel caliber it will fit.

Be careful as the hammer spring will force the barrel out when the last set screw is removed. The set screws do not need to be removed completely.
