Haven’t used my Condor SS, with quick disconnect tank, for 3 years (retired and still house hunting (daughter still in college up in Chicago, wife and I trying to decide where to drop anchor). Tried to pump up my tank (still with 2000 psi), and the Airforce pump could barely pump in anything, and the handle won’t stay down, but pops and stays up.…Read more

Its the post by Randy; “how to decock the condor ss”, in the condor ss forum. It took me less than 3 minutes for the whole show, and I’ve never looked back! After punching out the pin with a golf tee as a punch, and sliding out the hammer and de-knobed breech, the toggle just fell out when I turned it upside down. Now I can de-cock anytime,…Read more

Thank you very much! I put a little silicone grease on them, plus the breech o-rings. For a while, the shots were going wild, but have seemed to settle down, for whatever reason. Originally, I thought it may have been due to me removing the safety toggle, which seemed to hold the hammer back until I removed it. Still not sure… I know also…Read more

Hello onebaddj!

Thank you very much for helping me again; its been awhile since I’ve had a chance to enjoy shooting, as we were down in Florida, and not able to really shoot. Now we are up in Pa in an apartment (getting daughter started in college; still not able to shoot), and looking for a house. I’m glad to hear a tank dump isn’t the end.

I now see the spinlock could definitely work in a pinch if need be out in the field. Should probably get a quick detach just for field use or as a spare. Thanks again, and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there!

Thank you everyone; it was a difficult choice, but I finally decided on a condor with the new spinlock and trigger, just in case in the future I opt for one of the larger caliber aftermarket bbls for coyotes. Can I remove the spinlock tank and use a normal quick-detach tank for field trips to archery deer/squirrel stand? As an option, can I…Read more

Thanks for the suggestion; I can get a talon ss cheaper then a condor with 12″ bbl, since It would come stock with the 24″, with the 12″ an additional purchase. Have a question, though. You mentioned the talon ss is shorter than the condor frame with a 12″ bbl. I thought they were both 32.75″ in the 12″ bbl config with end cap. Also, do you…Read more
