<p>If I recall correctly it&#8217;s all about balancing the HST with the set reg pressure- the goal being the max pellet speed (around the 880/890 fps mark) being achieved when winding the HST in gives you little or no more than the max desired speed. This is the most efficient setting goal.<br />

<p>Squirrels absolutly hate the .25, it&#8217;s absolutely devasating on them even with JSB Kings rather than JSB Predators (I can&#8217;t get groups acceptable enough past 50 yds in mine with the Predators).<br />
The squirrels may hate me even more when the .30 turns up&#8230;.  😈 </p>

<p>The Neil Clague shroud I got has grub screws that tighten onto the barrel to keep it in place, it doesn&#8217;t &#8216;screw on&#8217; to the barrel the same as the OE moderator/shroud.<br />
Personally I prefer the &#8216;screw on&#8217; method of attachment, but hey that&#8217;s me  :whistle: </p>
