									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I think the easiest way is probably to just remove the barrel. Loosen the set screw on the top of the breech and the eight screws on the rail towers. Barrel should pull out &#8211; slide it out enough so that you can stick the o-ring to the end of the barrel and then slide the barrel back in. A little bit of silicone grease will help the o-ring stick.</p>

<p>After Mutant, my guns from most to least quiet: .22 Prod w/TKO LDC (12 FPE), .22 Cricket carbine (32 FPE), .177 Mrod (18 FPE), .25 R3M w/Donny LDC (45 FPE). Of course that is by ear and completely unscientific. The shot sound of the Mutant with the extra LDC on the end is just the crisp CLICK from the action. <p>Also pulled the reg again and cleaned just in case. Also noticed a lot of oil in the air tube, enough to puddle up. Cleaned it out. Opened a new tin of JSB 18&#8217;s and backed away a bit from the chrony. Now shooting consistent 790&#8217;s. I&#8217;ll check again in the morning.</p>

Hopefully this weekend I&#8217;ll have a chance to stretch it out to 50 yds. Again, lots of gratitude to Randy and Tony for helping to get us all back up and running again. Loving my Mutant!</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You need the barrel tensioning nut to pull the upper assembly together. Screwing the barrel further into the breech block won&#8217;t do anything. Go back to OEM two piece shroud with John Hagan&#8217;s adapter if you want to run an LDC on the end.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve also had a few fly off after a solid front chest hit with the .25 @ 45 FPE which left me in a real WTF moment. .22 @ 30 FPE seems to knock &#8217;em dead every time though. My only guess is that the .22 has better penetration through their feathers.</p>

The thing that gets my goat about the whole ordeal is that I had to wait for a month to take delivery of a gun that can&#8217;t shoot, and now it&#8217;ll be another month before I get a replacement barrel, and who knows how that&#8217;ll work out. The more I think about it the more I&#8217;m tempted to send this $1000 paperweight back and call it a day.</p>

Seems like a nice gun, but I feel a little like I&#8217;ve been duped, as I&#8217;m sure you all do as well. We were advertised Czech barrels, not the Korean barrels, and did not get what we paid for. What&#8217;s the best way to contact Peter? I&#8217;d like to voice my disappointment. </p>

I&#8217;ve tried running the bolt a few different ways &#8211; 5w20 oil (fcuk no), light semifluid grease (still sticky), moly-lithium grease (not bad) and the paste definitely feels the best to me.
