Heavier pellet hitting higher then lighter pellet has to do with pellet weight and recoil of the rifle.<br />
I had exactly same thing happened to me and I was puzzled by it. If you shoot PCP rifles the heavier pellet will hit usually lower that is why I was shocked.<br />

My .25 cal Talondor sounded like firearm when I shot it without the shroud. When Neil made a shroud for me and I got it, it is very quiet. The pellet impact and hammer ping are louder then the gun and it shoots 31gr barracudas at 935fps.<br />

Realized today that my scope on this rifle, which is Hawke Varmint with side paralax adjustment, has paralax markings that are not precisely marked. So I went to reference section here and found great sticky about the paralax adjustment and was working on it today. I really like short and powerful! 🙂 This rifle is 34 3/4 inches long without shroud. I wanted power out of it and desired to shoot 35gr Eun Jins out of it but so far they are not too promising. I take it since it is one piece you can&#8217;t adjust tophat so is it basically constant full power upgrade and you need certain hammer weight for it? Can you enlighten me please? I know that most of the LW barrels do shoot Kodiaks well but I really would like to try Eun Jins as they are heavier and deliver more energy. I think 43grain ones are too heavy for 18&#8243; barrel<br />

If you take it apart and then put it together you have to press the barrel against the breach to seal it and then align the front part of the breach with the barrel bore by playing with side screws. Amazingly it works very well.<br />
