Is there free space for the baffles to move back and forth between the set screw, spacer and shroud?   Does sound like a clipping issue, check your baffles and shroud for an impact site.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I will definitely be checking the clearance before I try this, but considering the small difference in diameter between .25 pellets and .257 slugs I doubt the baffles are produced to such exacting standards (if so any damaged .25 pellet would end up clipping the baffles as well).</p>
<p>Will keep my fingers crossed, barrel should be here in a few weeks.</p>

JSB&#8217;s are definitely the best, but at 50 yards I&#8217;m not getting any fliers from the Eun Jins or the Kodiaks.  The 12g H&amp;N I&#8217;ve only shot out to 30 yards and even then they were starting to open up a little, but for such a light pellet I expected much less.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>JSB 18.1 and 25.3 are what my Condor SS shoots best (18.1 best) but Eun Jin 28 and 32g are very accurate too.  H&amp;N 12g hollow point are fun for making noise and surprisingly accurate for supersonic pellets, and the 21g Kodiaks are decent as well.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is almost no muzzle report unless you&#8217;re shooting really light pellets that go supersonic, although the hammer slap could definitely be quieter.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not sure about the lube, but I&#8217;ve heard these guns hate lube &#8211; if you do use it, make sure it&#8217;s not petroleum-based or it will melt the rubber o-rings.</p>

For example, if you have a right handed stock, the frame will lean ~5 degrees to the left which makes getting a clear view through the sights that much easier.</p>

That screw was mostly out when I got it and I didn&#8217;t realize what it was for, so now the clipping issue makes perfect sense!</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For my first venture into PCP I figured I&#8217;d do it right, but now I&#8217;m wondering if I&#8217;m going for the sucker&#8217;s deal.  Looking into regular Condors now, I like the Bounty Hunter stock but I doubt the in-stock listing on that now as well.  What other manufacturers in the 4-900 usd range make quality, modern looking pcp airguns?</p>
