Strip it completely down, removing the hammer and slide, barrel and spring and clean everything, including the inside of the frame very thoroughly. Found it in black and it was like $3.95 for the can. Dunked it about twice and it has a nice, thick coat of rubber over the whole wok-but now&#8230;&#8230;.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yeah, the sales guy was saying there are 3 different grades for the 3rd generation tubes, the best grade being Mil-spec,  the second best grade is commercial grade which has some minor dark blemishes in the screeen, the last being  A grade B commercial which is the cheapest but has several blemishes or dark spots in the screen. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The head piece is made from nylon strapping, the mounting hardware on the headpiece is a hard plastic, with a rubber chin cup to secure it to your head and weighs basically nothing. </p>
<p>The goggles themselves it says weighs 1 lb. I wore them for probably 30 minutes last night and they were not bulky or cumbersome at all. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, I was going to say no, they wouldn&#8217;t work with glasses, but just put mine on to try and yes, they do work. The rubber eye cups are a very soft, kind of floppy rubber and they allow the eye glass to be snuggled inside and wrap around the lenses.</p>
<p>There is also a focus ring on the monocular tube to adjust for focus too.</p>

The second I&#8217;d suggest is to try the 21gr Kodiaks, they are tried and true for these guns.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of my other posts on pg 1 has the weights, the old aluminum one that somebody made that came with the gun weighed 52.7 grams, the new brass one I put in weighes 64.5 and it&#8217;s shooting great. </p>
<p>On another note that I&#8217;ve noticed, the aluminum hammer was solid aluminum, this brass one has delrin bushings on each end. <p>Power wheel stayed set at 8, tank fill to 2900 psi. </p>
<p>Prior to the new hammer last night, I was shooting 21gr Kodiaks through the 12&#8243; barrel an avg of 760-770 fps. The gun had valve work by Jim, trigger and safety smoothed up to perfection and the barrel polished.  </p>

Got just about dark and the chrony did not have enough light, but I can tell ya, this thing is smoking now. Can&#8217;t wait till tomorrow to run some througn the chrony to see what kind of difference that made.</p>
