<p>I bought two 100 cubic foot SCUBA tanks, that fill to 3,500 lb/sq in. from a local dive shop that was going out of business. I got two, in great shape, for $300 total. <p>I removed the gauge from my AirForce fill adapter and installed it on my Condor. It&#8217;s larger, more accurate, fits normally, has a rubber bumper around the edge, and looks like it belongs there.</p>
<p>If not that, I&#8217;d take a look in the paintball world. They&#8217;ve go a lot of stuff that works well on airguns and are reasonably priced.</p>

<p>Nothing shoots better than the Eun Jin 28.4 Grn Domed and Eun Jin 32.4 Grn Pointed so I us a lot of them.</p>

<p>The inserts allow using lighter weight pellets at lower speeds. It&#8217;s a lot quieter. It uses less air. There&#8217;s less risk down range.</p>
<p>I keep the large insert in my Condor SS .22 almost all the time. With 19gn pellets It&#8217;s shooting around 900FPS.</p>

That may not be true because I&#8217;ve seen such holes used to remove the tank adapters when the tanks are hydroed. Whatever, that position looks like a candidate for installing a 1/8&#8243; bleed valve.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A fill adapter wouldn&#8217;t help. The fill quick connect probe has a check valve in it. It&#8217;s a &#8216;Hotel California&#8217;. Air goes in but it won&#8217;t come out.</p>
<p>The pre-Spin-Lock tanks could be emptied by putting a spacer in front of the valve and screwing the tank back in. I don&#8217;t know if that will work with the Spin-Locks. </p>

<p>I just checked my tube of Permatex dielectric grease and, sure enough, 100% Silicone. But also, the tube has a caution that it&#8217;s an eye and skin irritant. </p>
<p>Looks like I had air gun O-ring lub on hand and didn&#8217;t know it.</p>

<p>Is there risk of damaging the stem or gun if the stem is removed more than a few times?</p>
