I actually expected top hat creep, had read it affected POI, and velocity, but wasn&#8217;t aware it affected velocity this much. In anticipation of this very symptom, after it&#8217;s first outing, I am glad I ordered Tony&#8217;s modified top hat before my rifle even arrived. Good to be prepared ya know? The other clue I had&hellip;<span class="activity-read-more" id="activity-read-more-235166"><a href="https://talonairgun.com/forums/topic/muzzle-velocity-drop-after-a-hunting-trip/#post-211041" rel="nofollow ugc">Read more</a></span></p>

Personally I do my best to keep the most pressure in the area on my hand cradling a trigger housing, in the web of my thumb and my hand slightly under to hold the rifle up&#8230;I&#8217;ve shot for years and until I started shooting pellets a lot last year I never learned to do&hellip;<span class="activity-read-more" id="activity-read-more-177705"><a href="https://talonairgun.com/forums/topic/the-utility-of-aftermarket-parts/#post-210580" rel="nofollow ugc">Read more</a></span></p>

Is the tophat (as I am seeming to get the feeling) THE weakest link in the Airforce gun design&#8230;aside from an aluminum frame which can change POI due to flex? </p>
<p>Any other thoughts guys?&hellip;<span class="activity-read-more" id="activity-read-more-235170"><a href="https://talonairgun.com/forums/topic/the-utility-of-aftermarket-parts/#post-210383" rel="nofollow ugc">Read more</a></span></p>
