The 750 FPS does not bother me in regards to “lobbing” the pellets toward the target/game. I have restricted all my PCPs to 700 fps (25.4 grain pellets) (for consistency and shot count.) Making head shots on a variety of game out to 50 yards is no problem.

I shoot only 25 cal JSB 25.4 grain pellets in my SS condor. It’s a tight fit in the breech so if the muzzle is choked … I would imagine the already tight pellets get squeezed a lot at the muzzle. I will try what you said.

For a moderate increase in shot count and consistent fps == use the screw with a large hole
For a large increase in the shot count but a lower FPS = use the screw with the small hole

The quick change top hat (with no restricter screwed into it) will give you about a 50 fps increase.
