The top shooters in the 100meter competition in my country AL select their pelets.<br />
The weight diference can be severe.<br />
Try differend batches of differend years if possible.<br />

but its diameter is bigger than the magazine diameter.<br />
So real .223 amo won&#8217;t fit in the magazine, you will have to size it,<br />
and then it will be a little to small for the barrel it selve.<br />
So, unfortunately, the 41 grains rws are to long and thick for it.<br />
I ended up shooting 16 grains jsb at 300m/s.</p>

I relocated the pivot, drilled a 2,5mm hole +- 5 mm higher.<br />
It makes the turning point of the trigger closer to the trigger rod,<br />

Do not dril it more upwards, the trigger material will be to thin.<br />
I made the rear lever longer, also resulting in a larger stroke.<br />

So theoreticly it must be possible that the unchoked R4 reaches the 100 joule, 74 Fpe.</p>
<p>But till now I did not find a .25 cast bullit the gives me match worthy grooping.</p>

I made 2 types of replacement valves.<br />
The springless black valve and an improved spring type.<br />
For power the springless valve will do its thing (up to 100 joule+),<br />
for the .22 and .25 the white one is good.<br />
The hardened metal rod goes deeper in to the valve body and is secured with a special glue.<br />

Keep an eye on the tube pressure, do not shoot under reg.<br />
The hammer wil hit the bronze nut hard.<br />
Maybe lower the reg pressure some, it will give a couple of shots more.<br />
How is the cocking of the hammer?</p>

I tried with a lighter spring and without spring.<br />
Both worked fine but with the (lighter) spring I could not reach 295 m/s. @ 150 bar.</p>

Make sure to give the hst less tension before testing.<br />
Cock the hammer before filling the first time from zero.<br />
The old housing:<br />
glue the pilar of the valve spring to the middle section to prefent the valve from falling in to the middle section,<br />
when there is no tube pressure.<br />

but the grooping at 75 meter was not good.<br />
At least with the LW barrel.</p>
<p>I do not know how about other barrel brands.</p>
<p>If you planned to shoot at 150 bar for a long time,<br />
maybe it is an idea to remove the valve spring.<br />
It saves a lot of hst and your valve won&#8217;t breakdown that fast.<br />

The valve is at the end of its stroke.<br />
Just get a normal Washer, 1 mm thick.<br />
Place it like ()()()()()()I<br />
You will have to adjust the reg again, but it will reach 140 bar.<br />
1mm, NOT thicker.</p>

I think it was about 15MM, it is dificult to calculate it out of the results.<br />
The track at Katwijk has a digital counting system.<br />
