I want to mount it in front of my scope so I need to utilize the dovetail grooves on the top rail and not have to use a dovetail/weaver adapter which may create a height problem.
It is also a little pricey but I…Read more

I have one of these being shipped now. It looks like it should be a good unit. It has much better specs than the Air Force laser. The Air Force laser is less visible in daylight (red) and the specs show a 4 1/2″ dot at 100 yards. The Beamshot is green and has less than a 2″ dot a 100 yards. I plan to mount it using a 1″ scope ring on the top…Read more

I plan to go with the 4-16×50 Nite-Eye SR. I like the option of having the illuminated reticle. This power range seems to be a good match for an air rifle to me also. If you look at the BRC software you will see that the reticle calculations change as the magnification changes. I plan to calculate the numbers for 2 or 3 magnification levels once…Read more

Good info Jeff. The Condor is my first air rifle and I am new to the sport. I do not have a chrony yet so I cannot check my pellet speeds. I am shooting 18.1 grain domed pellets. Can either of you give me a good idea of where to set the power level and what would be a good distance to zero my scope? I was thinking 30 yds might be good as I plan…Read more

Mike,
Thanks for the reply. I mounted my scope on the tri rail base and used medium rings. My height difference is 3.5 inches. I checked my target and the POI is about 3 inches low. That makes sense now. I also watched the DVD that came with the gun again and the scope mounting section covers this. I just didn’t listen as I was so anxious to go…Read more
