									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I got me replacement barrel from R&amp;L last week. Initial testing with JSB 15.9&#8217;s show a big improvement over the &#8220;made in Germany&#8221; barrel.  I&#8217;m assuming it is a Czub barrel?  It is choked.  New barrel groups more like a high end airgun now and the flyers are gone. I&#8217;ve old shot it at 25 yards so far.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Looks like the problem was the little oring inside the reg. Replaced Oring and shot a couple hundred pellets. I let the gun sit for 2 weeks and shot a full string today. The first shot was right at 900 fps with  SD of 2 and ES of 8 over the next 4 mags.  </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I did a little dissecting on my original valve.  The steel stem that seems to be the issue is nothing more than a 2mm rod that is threaded on the end.  The steel stem is just as bendy on both the new and old valve.  It is going to be pretty easy to try different materials for the stem.</p>

I straightened it out but it still leaked.  I tried unsuccessfully to resurface the valve seat on my lathe.  I purchased a new valve from Tony and it came in the mail today. <p>Comparing the Ocelot .22 to the Veles short .177 is kinda like comparing apples and oranges although they are both 12 fpe.  I haven&#8217;t shot either of them enough to pick one over the other.  I like them both.  If your into powder burners the Ocelot feels like a T/C Contender and the Veles feel like a S&amp;W 41. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Veles without the LDC  is loud like any PCP. The shroud on the Ocelot takes a lot of the crack away but it is about as loud as a co2 pistol. </p>
<p>Both pistols shooting right at 12 fpe. Ocelot gets 40 shots, Veles gets 20. </p>
<p>Ocelot has gauge, Veles doesn&#8217;t. </p>

Shot count on Mutant and Ocelot are much better than Veles / Lelya.  Mutant quieter than Lelya but not as accurate. Veles much quieter and lighter than Ocelot. There is no clear cut winner. <p>I played around with the HST cranking it in but I did not get any higher velocity than 590 fps (JSB 15.9). <p>The baffles attach to the barrel.  I&#8217;m sure a LDC adapter could be fabricated. The shroud/moderator takes the edge off but I would not call it super quiet. There Are only 2 baffle and a little volume around the barrel for the shroud. Probably about as loud as a stock Prod. Accuracy seems very good. Quality is top notch</p>

<p>Put a 3 MOA red dot on the Ocelot and sighted it in at 25 yards.  Was shocked at the first group which was one hole.  Trigger is now set to 2 stages and 2-1/2 pounds. </p>
<p>I did a string from 240 bar to 70 bar. 42 shots are listed below with JSB 15.9&#8217;s. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mine arrived today from Topgun Airguns. It came in a nice Kalibrgun case.  It had a light spring in it that would barely drop the hammer. I swapped it out with the much larger spring that was included. </p>
<p>Trigger was horrible and needed adjusting. There are (3) 2mm Allen screws accessible through the bottom of trigger guard. <p>Bottom rear screw is sear engagement and top screw is over travel.  I guess the only weight adjustment is the spring on the linkage?  </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A year ago I bought SCBA tanks off eBay with 5 years remaining for $75 shipped. I ended up buying a Jubilee valves  (slow flow) from Best Fittings. They were very reasonable at $125 shipped to the USA for the valve, gauge, whip, and foster fitting.  American SCBA tanks use 7/8-14 thread IIRC. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My 25 R3M Stnd came shooting about like Donny&#8217;s averaging 930 FPS for 40 shots.  I turned down the HST and was getting about 50+shots averaging 890 FPS.</p>

<p>Today I took it apart and turned the regulator in from 12:00 to 4:00.  My reg was marked 130 bar.  BTW, Ernest Rowes degasser / reg puller is very nice. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I got my HST in the mail on Thursday. I also had to shorten mine as it was bottoming out on my .25 R3. I removed 5 threads. I am surprised that it was made so much longer than the original?  I also had about 3 turns on the original. </p>
<p>When I received the Edgun it was shooting at 950 FPS. I shimmed the front ring .010&#8243;  with brass shim stock and that was enough to allow me to zero.  I now have a set of Burris Signature Zee rings on order.
