In the field I&#8217;m going to use just the shroud but for backyard, benchrest or nighttime shooting ill screw on the LDC. The shroud by its self is only a couple inches longer but is much more efficient at quieting down the muzzle blast.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I used a long pik to make sure nothing inside the shroud was water soluble, it wasn&#8217;t, then washed with hot water and blew out with air. You would be amazed at the amount of lead dust that came out of the shroud.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Actually it was a new bit I saw him unwrap it, he threaded the hole. The problem was when he tightened the stud in the wood just splintered and twisted off with very minimal torque. The wood before sanding it is only .25in wide it was way to easy.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I actually need to get another chrono, I had one but I left it on my truck toolbox and it disappeared on my way home. 🙂<br />
I&#8217;m happy with whatever the fps/psi is set at. I shot at 70yards today it only dropped 2.5ish inches and still held 1inch groups other than the odd 2in flier that I blame on the super cheapo light pellets</p>
