I used oven cleaner to remove to anodizing from the breech and shroud then went over with 800 grit The air tube was a bit sensitive but easier so I just went over it with 800 grit sandpaper. After that, I used a clear coat made for rims, since it sticks to metal better, to protect it.</p>

I only had it for 2 months but the zero never moved or &#8220;drift&#8221;. Very easy to adjust. The mount is really good too. Very  rigid. Construction of the laser itself is very sturdy. Lots of metal which is good to me.
