I started with Co2, but after the 1st tank, I modded my gun to use air.<br />
You can now buy the fitting to make it HPA or bulk Co2, it is just a Foster Fitting with the threads made for the Blackbird, just screw it in, then use either air or Co2.<br />
Right now I am using 1250psi regulated air,<br />

What is the barrel length?<br />
I have one and also a Verm.<br />
The Glad barrel is too long, the Verm barrel too short, LOL!!<br />
Actually, I like the length of the Verm better if I just had to choose, however, the Glad barrel adds a lot more velocity.<br />
I am getting about 1050 with the Glad and 750 with the Verm, both 22cal, 14.3gr</p>

Try it with an LDC as it can get fairly loud on high power setting&#8230;, no where as loud as the HV, but still too much for the neighbors here.</p>

Have not modded it or even checked it full power, (the probe rings broke and could not refill it until new rings came in), but at a little over 2,000psi it was doing 150fpe. I am sure with the additional 1,000psi it would make a good difference in power.<br />

<p>After several RWS guns, it just really put a bad feeling for the guns after I saw how much better other guns were, but at the time, RWS was all I knew, the top of the line, but after buying several, I would have rather had the Crosman 760 I sold to help pay for the 1st model 34.</p>

If I had the choice between RWS and a Chinese gun, I would get the Chinese gun.<br />
