<p>If I hit the horizontal part of the curb just in front of where it curves up there is this ricochet whistle as the pellet goes vertical.<br />

<p>If the pellet just fell thru the Beeman Sizer it would go into the &#8220;just plinking&#8221; bin (small head).</p>
<p>So the .177 sizer was .1785, wouldn&#8217;t I want a .22 at .2215 ?</p>

and then press them through a Beeman Pellet Sizer.  (NLA)</p>
<p>In my experience (that and few $&#8217;s is worth a beer) the diameter and<br />
true-ness of pellet made bigger difference then a 1/10 of a grain in weight.</p>

Then several dry ones. </p>
<p>It then takes about a dozen shots to settle the barrel down.</p>
<p>After about 1000 pellets my TalonTunes SS has dropped about 1/2&#8243; lower<br />
and 1/4&#8243; to the left @ 50 yrds.  I think it is more the parts settling in then the<br />
barrel breaking in.</p>

<p>You have to get all of the oil off of pellets.  Any oil floating on the surface of the pellet will mess with the barrel.</p>
<p>Clean the barrel and use paper towels to suck up excess oil on the pellets.<br />
It&#8217;s the oil in the pores of the pellet that makes the difference not the oil on the surface.</p>

<p>It can pick up dust and crud. </p>
<p>Be careful when you take the trigger guard off.  Observe how the safety bar and small spring are fitted.<br />
My little spring fell on the floor  😯   Found it. </p>
<p>A little lube and my safety is better then ever  😉</p>

<p>I am using the indicating #8 screen.  About 1/8&#8243; chunks.<br />
Next time I may go 1 step smaller.</p>
<p>The pound jar has enough for maybe 5 fills.  But I just bake (regenerate)the used<br />
and dump it back in the bottle.  Then shake it up and pore fresh into the pumps canister.</p>

<p>Friggen moisture in the barrel.  Is your air supply dry ?</p>
<p>Pull a patch through and you&#8217;ll be amazed how wet it is.</p>
<p>If my beer bottle is sweating, I drink more and shoot slower  😉 </p>
<p>100 degrees with 70% himitity now !!!</p>
