Thin part of the bbl is 5/8&#8243; thick portion is 11/16&#8243;<br />
Bushing OD 0.004 to 0.008 smaller<br />
As to swithing to a 257 bbl you WILL RUN INTO VAVLE DUMP. Too much back pressure. Valve interior requires restricting to over come this. That is a Canadian Loonie for size comparison basically just over an inch in dia. Top left 2 shots are from 9mm from a previous shoot. Better setup better results could&#8217;ve been attained. Target was an old camping frying pan 4.5mm thick base if your wondering.</p>

If you can take your finger nail and scratch a line length wise down your casted bullet with depth and ease. You are 4-8 Brinel. Hardcore casters would be having a Brinel tester. Pure lead is 4-6 Brinel. The harder to make a moderate strength scratch, the harder the lead.
