Speed is around 850fps for a good 40 shots, pellets are 5.5mm/.22 JSB 16grainers

Why does a .177cal give more shots per fill than the pther calibers? Does it have to do with less air needed to move the smaller lighter pellets?

I also aquired a Puma rifle, very similar to the Talon except it has a 20″ barrel and uses a 12oz CO2bottle as airsource, which I fill up to 160bar HPA.
