I have heard many rumours of why, from  the hammer forging machine broke or wore out to cost v/s their sister spanish company Gamo making all their barrels now.. either way I know all the old stock is long gone.. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Niether.. TJ barrels are 5 groove bullet barrels and are detrimental to pellet BC for long range shooting. They requre a chamber cutting to seat a pellet in the deep rifling without damaging the pellet.<br />
Both barrel twists will shoot fine to 100 yards but have no advantage for shooting 200y+ over the Edgun barrel.<br />

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Your transfer port is too small&#8230; at 4.5mm it is suitable for use without a reg. You need 5.5mm through the barrel, no bigger or the pellets will drop in and shave lead and 6mm to 6.5mm bores from behind valve seat to valve tp.<br />
I suspect the plenum is too small for decent velocities too.</p>

<p>Try testing the Huma reg between 130 and 150 bar.. if you cant get 900fps somewhere in that reg range you will need to check your plenum volume and transfer port size</p>

 You dont need the crazy high reg settings to get the high velocities with the heavy pellets.. we were just attempting destruction tests but failed to break anything.<br />
