<p>Here&#8217;s a bit of data from a MagnetoSpeed chrony on a .25 Lelya shooting JSB 25.39s.  I&#8217;ve made no changes to the gun as shipped, except to re-crown the barrel.  At the point of this test, it has fired 400 or so rounds.  Starting tank pressure was 200 bar.</p>
<p>Using a Vortex red-dot sight, accuracy has been very good at 25 to 40 yards.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The ideal gas law, PV = nRT, works pretty well for air at 1 bar and &#8220;normal&#8221; temperatures.  At 200 to 300 bar it is only a rough approximation.  The van der Waals equation is a better approximation and is easy to use.</p>
<p>For engineering and design work there are computerized air models that give good results at high pressures.</p>

<p>The adjuster screw at the back of the slide sets the depth of the bolt when the slide is all of the way forward.  The bolt needs to be far enough forward for a toggle on the bolt assembly to flip into a pocket in the breech assembly and lock the bolt in the forward position for firing.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve installed Magpul type 1 sling mount sockets as shown in the photos below.  The OD of the socket is 1/2&#8243;.  I drilled the stock with a 1/2&#8243; Forstner bit for a clean cut.  The socket is set with a bit of epoxy and a wood screw through the bottom of the socket into the stock.</p>

<p>No CO2 adapter, just the Altaros and TTTA.</p>
<p>The LOP increases by 4&#8243;, which is quite a bit.  This works for me because I&#8217;m kind of big.  The problem is that the Condor has become kind of hard to share due to the excessive LOP.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve just ordered one of Tony&#8217;s carbon fiber tanks.  This will shrink the LOP by 1.25&#8243; (ref: TalonTunes web site).</p>

<p>There&#8217;s a good article in Wikipedia on this topic.  The usual test is to 5/3 working pressure while measuring cylinder volume.  If the volume doesn&#8217;t return to normal when the pressure is released, the tank is removed from service.</p>
<p>Luxfer advertises a minimum burst pressure of 2.5x working pressure for it&#8217;s cylinders.
