Page 39 in the manual for adjusting your carb. Looks like they dont have a Hi adjustment, just an air mixture (LD) and Idle adjustment (L) so that doesnt help too much.

Run some fresh gas through it with seafoam additive and let it idle.

If its an adjustable carb try opening your hi jet a little (if its adjustable it will have two screws near each other, one marked L another marked H, you want to turn the H counter clockwise to lean it out).

You’ll have to trim that pot down or replace it with something.

It sticks out too far in its stock size and gets in the way of the regulator, but is used to retain the valve spring.

Mine was held in by a small set screw which is accessed through a small hole in the reservoir tube threads.
